    Hi
I would be very happy to purchase the two 200 foot cartridges dated 1991. I have been looking for sound film for three years. If you advise me your bank details I can wire the money to include shipping charges.

    Question

Hi I'm new to the world of super8 filmmaking. I was just curious as to whether or not expired film is usable.

Yes, expired film is usable. But it depends on how long it has been expired and how it has been stored. Kept at a cold temprature it's entire life, undeveloped film can have a pretty long life span.

    (13) Super8 50' Ektachrome 160 Type A sound film is all that is left. $25 per cartridge, or 5 for $100.

This is a good question I myself have asked since recently I bought several sound cartridges. My feeling is that there should be no difference between processing sound film and silent film. I feel so because in the past I often happened to have processed films returned with the trailer (the leader that is cut after developing and that links one roll to another) showing that my sound film ahd been joint to a silent film during processing. That's what makes me thing both sound and silent films (used to) go throughthe very same baths.

I hope I am not wrong and that this helps.
    Regards.

    Maurizio

You can get these processed at Yale Film and Video for $12.00 a cartridge. http://www.yalefilmandvideo.com/S8_and_R8.htm#Super 8
Actually, I just sold all I had for a cheap deal to someone.
